Having in-house diagnostic laboratory capabilities is critical when your pet needs an accurate diagnosis quickly and efficiently. At Animal Medical Center, using our IDEXX state of the art laboratory, we are able to obtain complete blood counts, blood chemistry values, and electrolyte results in a matter of minutes. If your pet is showing outward signs of pain or discomfort, or simply isn’t behaving normally, blood diagnostics can help our veterinarian determine what might be wrong. At times when minutes may be valuable for your pet, Animal Medical Center can find the issues your pet may be facing and prescribe a treatment solution.

We take pride in the wide variety of diagnostics that our hospital can provide for your pet. Heartworm and feline leukemia/immunodeficiency viral tests, fecal exams, pancreatitis screening, and parvo viral tests are performed during your appointment. We also determine viral identification such as feline respiratory disease, toxicology, and blood titers for fungal or intracellular blood parasites.

Once we have arrived at a diagnosis for your pet’s condition, we provide medical treatment plans including IV therapy, wound management, nutritional support, pain relief, and intensive care.
